home made seats

Thanks, but you should see it now. I have my M7 tore to sh..!
It looks like a bomb went off in there.

I don't know man, I think after seeing the perfectly spaced gas cans and decorative arrangement of the saws on the wall I have a hard time believing you would allow it to be messy!!

Seats

Here are some of the seats I build! All light weight foam and cold crack cover. Seats are one piece with fuel tank and they weight 7.1 lbs with fuel tank! These are some prototype pictures as you can see the cover is not very tight we were and still are learning but they look sweet when finished and look real nice! We did get the covers tight and have that problem fixed!

Here's mine. I just added some seat foam and glued it on, contoured it to match and had the wife sew a new cover for it. Cost less than $50.

In the process of building another one for the back up sled, I can take progress pics if you like.

This was on my edge when I bought it. It had room for the drinks and they stayed cold. I just sold it.

Snowboard seat is a pain in the arse

seat

Darn this web sight... Every time I see something good on here I have to go out & copy it.. I just made a light weight seat for my 08 XP... This wouldn't work for the tall guys,, is a little shorter that stock. But for us shorties, it will take a few lbs of your sled... 3.5 lbs. I bought a stock seat bottow. 28" X 15" X 2" hard foam, got it at Hobby Lobby, 28" X 20" X 2" foam from the upholstery shop, a piece of material that is good in cold weather.. $80. A boss seat is over $400...

i really want to make one of the smaller ones, as the 05 rev/rt seats are HUGE and heavy, and in the way and have no storage. i like the snowboard, i have one that is useless, i rode to many rocks with it, now i think it might have a new life.
