Holz Rear Suspension, What Are The Benefits

Other than losing a claimed 17-18lbs,what are, if any,the benefits of the Holz rear suspension over 08 D8 stock suspension? How is ride quality affected for better or worse? Is it really a good $1200 upgrade. Any info would be appreciated.

Timbersled

Upgrading your suspension help with the ride. In the whoops and jumping are a big plus. I personally run the timber sled. It loses 20 pounds and is truly awesome in the powder. and getting there on the trails is much easier on the back.

Don't know about the new suspensions but the Holz is miles above the Edge supsenion. More weight transfer, climbs on snow better, rides nicer and light. I ran one for 5 seasons in my mod and never had ANY issues with it. Worth every penny.

Not sure if you care about the Holz in a Cat, but I have had mine for a couple of years. I honestly don't know that I would buy it again. Yes, it is lighter and handles the powder better, but you ask if it is worth the money, and I don't know that it is. Just my .02

Thanks for any info. I went and bought it Friday, got a good cash deal from my dealer. Now I just have to find time to install it. Buddy of mine prolly taking WE shocks off my hands, so all in all it should be about $600 a swap.
