Holy DEEP.....Gunna be good one :-)

I've had gas guzzling days before, but for some reason today it slurpped it quick. Maybe it was cause the snow was a little heavier?? where'd you guys ride. We were in the parking lot by 9 and back at it by 1230

You guys suck...parents in town yesterday, and today went to Fairview because the "pow was soooooooooo deep yesterday". Drove 2.5 hours to a measily 4-6 inches in most areas with maybe 12-18 on certain slops. It was still a blast but noone would listen to me last night when I said the Uintas got pounded.

Good thing we had spare sleds too, 4 sleds were broken in one way or another out of a group of 8....then later on when the spares ran out a group of 5.

Good to see you guys tore up all the great powder in the Uintas. I had fun doing the hill climb thing, hero snow so you could really show off, everyone goes straight up and I go every which direction up and down. You know you left some good tracks when you drive back by them and go "what the hell? those are some messed up....oh...wait...those are mine" then a giant grin appears on my face...

Rode the Unitas today, Your right you missed it... we rode the lakes area up Mirror Lake and it was REALLY good this morning. Easily 2 and in some spots 3 ft GREAT ride ... so good we ran one tank out went back to the trucks filled up and went back up on the Soapstone side... just getting home and I am WHOOOPED! ... :D

Sorry to say Chad: Best weekend of the year.:D:beer;

Mak: we rode some back ways to Gold Hill and through some new pine areas that we were happy to find an out. Seems like GP and I are more likley to explore on our own than with other people. Not the smartest move but it's a good time for sure. Then we worked over to Double and played around on the next 2 Northern bowl area in between Super and Humpy. Great day for sure.;)

Here are some shot from today:

Plenty left, but it is setting up fast and getting really sticky.
My belt was starting to throw out strings today like yours did last Friday. I decided to change it before it exploded. What a difference it made. Wish I could afford a new belt every ride.

Bent an A-Arm this weekend too. Stupid azz log piles that look like jumps.:face-icon-small-con

When I heard I would be going to fairview I was really considering heading your way Ron. Would have been just as quick getting there and better snow. Didn't really know how to get ahold of you at 10:30 last night when I knew you would be at the cabin....And you know I love exploring days....

If my truck wasn't dead at my sled storage (had to limp it there due to a bad water pump) I would show you pics of the "Awesome pow" we had today. Left my camera, all my gear and even my iPod in it. How do I forget my iPod there....it never leaves my side damnit...

What belt you running Ron? If it was the 115 mine would have lasted well over 1000 miles if I wasn't being stupid...you lucked out with lasting this long without bending an A-arm. upper or lower? Lowers are quite spendy...Same price as the damn 115 belts....

Good. I am still trying to find someone to ride with. I have a real flaky group that I usually ride with and never know if we're even riding until minutes before leaving...sucks.

That's the risk you take with those log piles....at least you looked cool, right?:p

Man, I hope I looked cool. Don't know what was louder? Shoulder tearing, A-arm bending or the sound of a 500lb sled hittin a pile of chit at 30 mph. LOL

My shoulder is so jacked up I couldn't sleep and sure I won't tonight either.

I know. I know. Your tired. Where the heck is the ride report. I want to hear all about it. And did anyone take some pics?

This typing is killing me. My arms are like noodles right now and I feel like Gumby trying to type.

Goodness it was a great weekend for us. I wish it was the start, not the ending.:(

SH likes to torture me in the down hill tree sections. But in a weird way I like it. It helps a ton and what a feeling when I surprise the crap out of him and pull it OFF. Woo Hoo, girlpower!! LOL...

All he said when I made it out of the trees was "where's your goggles?" I said that I had dropped them in the snow. And he was like OMG I have to go back up there and look for them... Dahhh!!! I just put them in my tunnel bag and went on my way without them.:) That was some refreshing POWDER in the face.:D

What a fantastic day. Thanks SH, you ROCK!!

Advil PM works wonders for me.

Is mrs. Donut dizzy today? It was donut snow for sure. wish I could have Double Hill'd w/you. let's all picture share tonight on here. stay safe out there today. :)

Hey rock, I wasn't dizzy all weekend. I got bored of donuts and decided to skip them and save the energy for the tight hills full of trees and long side hills. That is a rush!;)

Where is your ride report and your pics. Come on don't keep us hanging.:)

Your turn to share.:face-icon-small-win

Nope. Home now and beat. Rode hard again today. And yes it was deep and a gass guzzler.

My dad wasn't lettin me hit any drops that was the only downfall of today.. " you drop that, with all this fresh snow, you might as well throw a gernade on that side hill, and i don't wanna be diggin out your dead body for the next week" haha i was gettin MAD. kinda avalanche physco to the extreme...

I was shocked to see there were no bomb drops off Double. Very tempting to say the least but your dad has a very valid point. Not worth dieing for. Ride to ride another day.:):sun:
