Was on the fence about bringing my sled since I needed to be in the CSA meeting in Leadville at 1pm Sat.. Decided to leave it home and drove up on Friday, then the meeting was cancelled! Boring drive home on Saturday when I could have been tearing it up with you guys (& gals) ...

We are working on it now. The tentative date will be April 10th. The big hurdle at this point has to do with the Nordic Center. Last year sledders went Ape $hit in that area even though there was some signage that was supposed to keep them out. We either have to have volunteers or find some way to keep sledders out of that area. We are in jeopardy of losing this privaledge forever if we (sledders in general) abuse this again. The problem is that people from all over show up and the HCPH and Leadville club cannot really do anything about it. Hopefully all sledders will step up and not abuse it this year. It is so cool to ride all over that ski hill. I think the weather will be amazing this year.
