Hollywood's Twisted PRO

Are you guys having any problems with the mid or low on the twisted setup?

We had one of the first twisted pro's!!!

Great video!! ( hint! hint! I saw the head come off in the video hmm.)

Still won't let this go. My head has never been off and no det. I guess you wouldn't believe me because your the only one that knows anything. Build your own kit if your so smart.

Looks like it ran great! And the head def comes off in this vid.... pause it at 41 seconds and its in his hand. Either way, nice vid.

I have built my own kit, so according to you that would make me smart but in reality anyone can build a kit, its making it run that is a science and figuring that out is what I would consider smart. The reason I keep bring this up is when all of you end up with head work of some sort there will be a new found respect and not for me but from the people I learned from.

Curious why in the initial pic they pull the sled in with what seems to be ski-doo shocks, notice the tightly coiled yellow springs, and then when backing the sled out it has stocker WE on it...any info as to why, not that it really pertains to the turbo setu, just curious

Whats up with the babble about the head. (I'm new to the pol/turbo forum)

Just my opinion but there is a right way and wrong way. A properly built turbo kit should include some head work that is focused on the squish band if you don't you end up with 2 fuel boxes and a timing control box piled on your sled. Squish band velocity is what you should research before you do any performance mod not just a turbo.Boondockers sled is running well in there video but the multiple boxes are a band aid fix for the real problem. Before you buy any kit you should do some home work on two stroke engines and educate yourself, learn as much as you can before you buy, it will not only help you but it will help your manufacture by showing them that you are knowledgeable buyer.

The babble is that inked has something against boondockers. I don't even care. If you don't like there stuff don't buy it. Just gets old with him lurking on every thread and saying if you don't change your head your an idiot and I'm just trying to help. Turboed pro with one box and it runs awesome. No head work. The twisted kit looks awesome too. Lets leave it at that.

Cam was runnin old skidoo springs a the start because he's a former skidoo rider and found the WE springs to bee to soft for big jumps, I'm not sure if he replaced the springs or rebuilt the shocks, all I know is he is much happier with the new setup. As far as the head debate goes, I'm not a turbo guy and don't know anything on the topic. I'm just simply here to share the video and promote hickshow. :)

I'm no turbo expert, but I've got a pro boondocker turbo (2 of them if you want to count my buddies identical sled).

We first ran the twisted kit on my buddy's sled, even had Shain come down and run it, but it never worked. It had mid and low range bogs that wouldn't tune out, but ran strong up top.
I'm not throwing TT under the bus, because I know he builds a great product and knows his stuff. Just curios if the twisted pro ever got off the ground and want to know how it performs. Also want to know if you had any tuning headaches with it, and what you had to do to work it out. Is your's intercooled?

It sure sounds like it is running pretty good to me! KILLER video! yes they are all water to air intercooled. unless Shain did a one off that he didn't show me....

Those Pros are sooooo much fun to ride!! boosted or not, they are a blast!

I guess the rumors aren't true then that this sled was crashed at the Metior Mt hill climb then a couple of weeks ago. Looks like it rips!

I don't want to hijack the thread. We just find it odd that our twisted sled works fine in the video, and now I see Hollywoods twisted turbo working like a charm.
I've got guys PM'ing me asking if that is the sled that so and so built. We have no explanation as to why it never worked for us.
This sled now has a boondockers turbo on it and works great, but will only pull 10# of boost.
Here's another vid
