Red is plat dots are rivets. Go around the hole with lord's put the plate down and rivet it. 3/32 rivets. 1/8" or so thick aluminum plate. You can also use 3m auto body panel adhesive instead of the lord's adhesive. Not sure of the # for the 3m though I've always used lords.

Fastenall or amazon your best bet up here in Montana, if you were close I could fix it here with you take a hour or so, in Hamilton....if you use the glue you can actually use the fastenall stainless normal 3/16 rivets, they are plenty strong
You could also do a nice 1/4 inch plate the entire size of that bottom "triangle" area and glue and rivet it in there, never break and have a nice bash plate to boot, and would look good also...below is a picture of the area only way I could get it loaded lol

I would personally do it that way vs the small patch. You could also do a nice 1/4 inch plate the entire size of that bottom "triangle" area and glue and rivet it in there, never break and have a nice bash plate to boot, and would look good also...below is a picture of the area only way I could get it loaded lol

Use 3/16 rivets I told you the wrong size earlier in a post.
I would use the larger head style rivets.
