How should I handle this? Patch it or replace it?
I’d patch it, then install a belly pan protector. Something like what Skinz offers with their bumper. You’d never even know it’s there.
Anyone with experience welding that cast? I would have someone with the proper set up weld it.
Does anyone think that the cracks would propagate?

Drill stop the cracks.
Lords adhesive an aluminum patch on it.
(Avoid attempting to weld it)
Fyi i’ve been Welding aluminum professionally for 12 years.
Can you elaborate on how that would look? and how i should go about doing that.
I use the cherry rivets and adhesive to hold the aluminum patch plate on. You won't see it if you install a skid plate.
Should I square that hole off? Drill holes at the corners and then run a patch over it, should I run the panel over to the right bulk head? I have never used lords before what is the trick?
what kind of aluminum and lords should I use, do you have a recommended size rivet?
Red is plat dots are rivets. Go around the hole with lord's put the plate down and rivet it. 3/16 rivets. 1/8" or so thick aluminum plate. You can also use 3m auto body panel adhesive instead of the lord's adhesive. Not sure of the # for the 3m though I've always used lords.

Don't cut the hole any bigger leave it as is. I dont see any cracks in the pic.

awesome, I suppose in reality that adhesive is stronger than the aluminum itself. I will post updates on it. What tool do I need to apply the adhesive.

what do I need to install the cherry rivets, I am not familiar with that product.

Just a standard rivet gun. Length will depend on thickness off material used. And yes the lords adhesive is very strong.

You can order applicator when order tubes of adhesive. I usually order the smaller tubes.

I really appreciate the help man, is there any place that sells either adhesive of the shelve? I really appreciate the help... hopefully this works
Auto body supplies shop should have the 3m adhesive.
