HMK GREAT SERVICE

Had an issue with boa boots that were out of warranty took them to haydays and HMK exchanged them for new style for a small fee.

I, too, have nothing but good to say of HMK's customer service.

A couple seasons ago I had some seams rip out on my HMK Action bibs. I emailed them my story, along with a couple pictures, and they responded promptly. I paid to ship my ripped pair back (all of $10...maybe...), and they sent me a new pair free of charge, no questions asked! For what we as snowmobilers pay for gear, it's nice to see companies stand behind their products!

HMK's customer service is as good as it gets.

I only use there boots, but did pick up a pair of pants to try this year.

I bought a set Team Boa Focus at Hay Days 2011 wore them four times last season and the soles were shot. Sent them back and with no questions i got a bran new pair a couple of weeks later.

Great people and company.

I also have had GREAT experience with HMK customer support. Sent a pair of boots back to them and 6 days later a brand new pair showed up on my front porch. No questions asked, no cost to me.

Plus their Gear is looking fresher every year.

I'm actually not a huge of the direction they're headed. A lot of their new line looks like bright and flashy snowboard gear, IMO. I think the Maverick jacket is about the only one I'd even look at wearing. To each their own though. I should be able to get a few more years out of my current gear...then we'll have to see what the market looks like. :ranger:

Did you look at the catalog? Every colored coat is available in a muted black as well?

Yes I did. I'm not a huge fan of all black gear (no need to look like a mobile burnt marshmallow), and do not care for the pattern on the Peak 2 line. Bright colors aside, that pretty well leaves me with the Maverick line.

Like I said, to each their own. I have seen a trend towards "louder" gear recently, but it's simply not for me. I currently run the HMK Voyager jacket in black/snow camo. It has just enough color break-up for me, and isn't "loud" by any means.

Loud colors are good to locate you or your buddy's when you're stuck in the trees on a snowy day. Good to stand out I think. Might as well have a little style at the same time.

I have a pair of there Pro Focus(I think that is the name, 2 boas) and I found a small 1/4" hole in the toe. Looks like a bullet hole. Not sure how that could have happened. Do you think that is something they would warranty or my own problem to deal with?

I would guess an actual hole will be your own problem. However, take a couple pictures and email them. Worst they can say is that you need new boots.
