highmark 22

How many of you run the snowpulse highmark 22 avibag. The dealer around here sells them. Just looking for the good and bad. Thanks in advance.

You can't go wrong with a snopulse, they are top of the line along with ABS bags.

Pros:
They are a great pack with lots of storage and an external shovel pocket.
The bag envelops your head and neck for cushion against trama (minimal support though when you think about how much weight is pushing you down the mtn)
Canisters are refillable at any paintball shop or scuba shop.

Cons:
The horseshoe shaped bag could impede your arms while trying to "swim" out of an avalanche.
The inflated bag restricts your side view in the event that you are trying to outrun a slide (like blinders on a horse).
The pull cord handle is just a loop of webbing instead of a T-handle, may make it more difficult to grab and pull in icy/snow packed conditions.

The new bags have a hard t handle, no more loops. I love my 22, I would buy again in a second.
