theres this place im looking at staying for a week called bear river lodge ,, its near milemaker 50 up 150 ,, guy there isnt much of a sledder so im wondering if it would be any good .. i was looking at the map and the area right near them is closed to motorized vehicles, but 10 miles up the road i could reach an area called high uintas wilderness .. /shrug thats what its called on the dnr pdf
that looked to be open to sledding and might be ok ,, just looking for any input ,, i only get 2-3 weeks to sled so kind of want to make the most of it.

The sledding is great up there. The lodges are nice just wish they still had the dinner Depending on how experienced you are head towards Elizabeth peak for easy flats riding and towards Double hill if you can ride. But the biggest thing, don't you dare not ride with out a beacon.:D:beer;

Funny cuz I'm in dirt bike mode and never had a clue you meant Sleddin.
I'll PM ya tomorrow. :D

That area is my backyard;)

thanks info

been riding a handful of spots ..cooke,togwotee,snowies,islandpark,steamboat and will ride with a beacon no problem :) if i cant convince my riding buddies to go this way maybe i could hook up with some of you if your going to be riding the area.:D whos to say what the snow is going to be like this year ,, with mild to moderate elnino but with hope it pounds the southwest.

Just a thought, if you get a beacon please, please take the time to learn how to use it and more importantly take the time to learn how to read the current conditions and avoid the hills altogether on the moderate to high risk days. I wear a beacon, but hope to never have to use it. Good luck riding.
