why should they, they gov just gave them a majority ownership in Chrysler and will GM soon.
Yeah...I don't quite get this. Even the government can't get them to budge. So instead, they offer GM stock that "might" later have some value. It is a good time to buy GM stock if they hold on (and don't go bankrupt). If GM makes it, they will be majority owned by the US government and the UAW. I wonder what kind of Corvette will come from that?

Why the F--K should the UAW get any percetage of either company? What in the hell has the union done for those companies to get any of it? I am a Dodge fanatic and if Chrysler does make a go of it after bankruptcy I will have a real hard time buying anything from a company with majority ownership of the UAW. Unions suck and are nothing but greedy. I hope every one of those overpaid tailight bulb installers end up unemployed. God I hope I don't ever have to buy a Ford. Might seriously have to look at Toyotas.

The only thing good to come of all of this is it has made up my mind to never buy another Ford/GM/Chrystler. I will not support a Union like the UAW.

I am gonna have to check to see if Fiat makes any diesel motors. Hopefully Jeep will get some to put into their vehicles again. Wait, my VM Motori motor is Italian and so is FIAT...

Fiat did a deal on Allis Chambers...The Fiat-Allis...some neat ideas in their dozers..but as well some real growing pains...track pins/rails wearing out real real quick...lots of problems due to inferior metal...but they worked it out in a few years..but yea..for certain they make the big diesels...
