Here it is friends: The all new So-Low deck. This IS the safest and fastest loading system on the market. Guaranteed! Look at the pics and videos and decide for yourself. You can also still pull most trailers,so that's what i usually do, just keep my sled in the truck then when my buddies want to go i just hook onto their trailer and off we go.
The deck and ramp together only weigh 210 pds, so one man can install in less than 15 minutes. No drilling or cutting required.
The ramps are auto locking so you just pull them out, and ride on without having to worry about them detaching from the deck.
Here is the website So-LowDeck.com online store and and So-Low Deck information source.
There is also some more info over at the manufactures website COVEYBUILT.COM So-LOW DECK Loading system
Thanks for looking.

the wood one would outlast your machines lifetime an possibly vehicles.... How much is one of those anyways

$1,899 nice set up, run with mine in the bed of my truck all the time. sure would be nice if i had the coin:) but alas i'm a poor working man so i guess i'll just have to keep using my atv ramps or the snowbank...

Very nice. Looks like it was made with high quality craftsmanship.

Of course you are going to get the guys that will build it out of scrap plywood and bed liners. But if you have the cash and want a very nice product this is a nice one.

IMO

I love mine, now that I have it I dont know how I got by without it. 1,899 is a lot of money, but it came with $189 superclamp and $200 worth of superglide on it. The few times I hauled my sled in the back of my last truck it was a pain in the butt, I messed up my $450 spray in bedliner with my skags, and tore loose the plastic piece on the tailgate. Its nice to be able to go up any road in the spring time and not worry about were you can turn your trailer around.

I built one out of wood, $60 and some stuff I had lying around the house. I have an old bed liner I'm going to cut for the guides and an old track I'll cut in small pieces and bolt to the ramp for traction.

Caleb,

That fabrication is very nice... What about for a compact truck that would mount over the wheel wells but still be IN the bed. Aluminum is expensive... welding, clamp, guides etc... all cost money... and you have to have enough to make it worth your while... DIY'er are great... and I am also glad that you have such a top notch unit to offer as well.

Here is a post I put up elsewhere... what are your thoughts?

Compact truck like Ford Ranger, Nissan, Tacoma (ranger is the narrowest of those)

I have been looking for a good quality, aluminum single sled, in bed, below the bed rail sled deck with some storage...nowhere to be found.

This deck would fit into compact trucks with 6foot beds... with the tailgate down.
eg... Ford Ranger, Nissan Frontier, Toyota Tacoma.

The deck would sit just high enough to to clear the wheel wells on in the bed.

The deck surface would be full width of the bed so that things are not falling down between the deck and the bed.

The deck will have ski guides and paddle grabbers on it and a single super clamp fwd.

A simple tri fold ramp will have pins to clip onto the deck for loading and unloading without the need to lift the sled in the rear to put the ramp on... and so you don't worry about it slipping off.

The tri-fold ramp will not have to be very long because the deck will not be that high off the ground.

The tri fold ramp will slide under the deck for storage and have a lock pin to keep it in place.

2 supplemental tail lights for safety at the rear that will plug into a standard trailer connector on the truck.

Some storage under... bins or a slide out.

No need for a "headache" rack because the skis will be inside the bed, below the rails.

Is this something that you could pull off... and what kind of cost would we be looking at?

Thanks for your time.... This would be a great product option that is not currently offered.

It would be great if you could post the info in this thread.

$1900, is that really what it cost? How much is a sled deck again? Definitely a certain market your going to have to hit with this one.

BTW, looks very nice.
