I need some help badd guys. Alright i have a 2000 rmk 700, i just put mikuni carbs on it and i went to grass drags today. the sled runs great for a stocker, other then a terrible bogg right off the line. when the sled is idleing it dies if you dont give it throttle. i turned the idle up and tried a bunch of different things. when you turn the choke on it idles a little bit better. its not the piolet jets being plugged we checked those.... i think it may be a reed problem but idk any ideas??

Do a compression test on it. If it's got a broken reed the compression should be lower on that cylinder. How did the races go today? Any big iron show up?
they went great i ran 700 stock i made it to the second day.... turbo 800 ran86mph not a bad turnout either.
Reed problems generally cause richness and if it ran better with the choke(enrichener) on then you have other problems, nothing pops into my mind on what it could be. Make any changes lately?

You may have to change your low speed jets and adjust you A/F mixture. Drop a size on you idle jet and see if it helps.
the recent changes are i just put in some tm 40 carbs..... sooo if that helps
