Help on sponsorship

My name is Jay Herman and i have been struggling on trying to keep a race career going for the past two years. I race cross country in USCC and this year I am the semi-pro class and I believe that I have the skills I just lack in the funding department. Since my first race 3 years ago I have pretty much paid for most racing expenses on my own and I am 20 years old. I really am having trouble affording this and I bought an 08 sno-pro because I decided this year is going to make or break me so I am going all out I just don't see realisticly how I am going to afford going to all the races considering the only sponsor I have that gives me any money only gives me $50 dollars a race. I have tried all local businesses and most of the bigger corperations like Arctic Cat and still no luck. If anyone has any tips on where I could go to maybe get some more sponsors or if you would like to sponsor me it would be highly appreciated. Thanks for your time, Jay

Good Luck to You!!! With the economy the way it is money is tight. People are not going to be giving it up easy for racing unless they were racers at some point.

Jay,
This is my second season racing snox, I raced 4 mn regional races last season.
I'm feel'n you dude... money is a big issue with travel expenses, entry fees, new sleds, etc.... I put a race resume together with my history I'd didn't expect much. I'm getting support this season from Polaris racing, FXR, C&A, Studboy, Powermadd, HMK, Diamond Shocks... helps if you follow up with a phone call.
Also helps if you have a friend to race with that can split expenses, which I don't have....yet.

Ya I just got Castle and Studboy but my main issue is money as far as parts go and all of that I'm pretty much set its the gas money that I am really concerned with and with me it sucks for making a resume because Ive only been able to make it to about half the races each season which really doesnt look good even though the reason I didnt is because I just couldnt afford to get there I have filled them out anyway but I think thats why I dont get a response back and I only go to the places I could really actaully use because like I said and not trying to sound greedy its not parts I need its gas and entry fees I need but thanks you guys for the support and responses its appreciated.
