Not sure what the news paper article proves. didn't watch the races today, but how were they? Lot of tight racing, down to the line close finishes, passing? doubt it. or was it obvious who's going to win unless someone broke down. did the team with the most money win? no competition. boring.

So Kidd, your not really there for the races, you're there for the party. thats ok a party is a party. but there could be RC boats racing and you would still go if all those people gathered on the lake. I agree with the shmuck, theres not much racing going on, they just start, they spread out, and they finish in those positions.

we ended up just south of the pits and had a great view for the blues, wakeboard demo and the boats. Nice crowd on saturday. Loved the vintage boats. Was my first time in Seattle... Nice place and friendly folks...thanks.

Glad you made it out and had fun. I dont drink and I take my family out to the event every year. Its not just a party. For some maybe. Like I said earlier its an event full of local culture, history and tradtion and racing.... I guess when people bash it I get defensive because I want it to be around for my children and grandchildren to enjoy.
