i just finished my new sled its an 07 440 chassis with a 07 summit xrs engine....electronics, carbs, exhaust all swapped over. tested the sled and it ran great.went to the golden bc sleddin ran great, come home to saskatchewan and im havin problems.
Symptoms - sled will not reach 8400 rpm....even on clicker 6 it only gets to 8400 for a second off the bat then it drops back to 7600rpm where it sputters up and down from 7600 to 8000rpm.
it makes an odd sputtering type sound.
it is NOT cold-piping.
any help would be greatly appreciated
