Help me love this sled

just noticed I did not read your entire post - I really don't think you need to go to the t-motion. I'd do it as a last resort - but you might try the 37" front end if you don't feel like you are making progress in the next 4-5 rides.

Funny you say that, it is one big diff. The summit skis are easy to bury the weighted ski and plant to pivot going from downhill.
The Polaris ski always stays on top, which is usually good, just maybe not in this instance.

Yeah, skinny skis kill it for maneuverability. Everyone spends big $$$ on a 37" kit...swap the stock skis and you just narrowed your outside to outside width the same as the 37" kit!

Cost $100 and if u like it u can sell ur stockers for $300

Try an ice age promotion. I lked it on my pro

I have a 163 by 2.6. I have shocks revalved by Carl's and KMOD 37" A Arms. What I found is that foot position is critical for the maneuver that you want to do. If you are too far forward, it makes it much harder to do that maneuver. I rode an XM and a T3 last year and you are definitely further forward to start with on those sleds but it doesn't seem to make much difference on them. I found that the sweet sport for the downhill to uphill transition for me is with the toes of my boots at least 8" behind the stirrups. When I made that change, the maneuver became effortless. The 37" A Arms definitely make a difference but not that much because I have spent some time on a friend's sled with the stock A Arms and skis in the 39" setting. it works well too if your feet are where they need to be.

So... having owned both brands I can tell you that Doo's are more front heavy and use stiffer front ski shock springs SO... they do better with the stabilizer bar pulled for mountain riding. Poo's are under-sprung and do better with the stabilizer bar IN as many have already mentioned. They simply don't need the stiffer ski springs because the center of mass is further back. It really is as simple as that - put the stabilizer bar back in!

Have FUN!
