Help a brother out, what do you all do for a living?

All of these people with high tech jobs and what appears to be lots of education is making me feel like scum! I live the exciting life of working in the field of public service. The one where everybody thinks "they make too much $ and are a waste of tax dollars and should make budget cuts there"..........

Until their house is on fire and need somebody to put it out, or somebody's father has a heartattack at Christmas dinner and they want you to save his life, or a mother screaming on the side of the road after she just got into a car accident and her little girl is trapped inside under a pickup truck......I think you get where I am going with this.

Does this include protecting one from some ones dad showing up with a shotgun, cuz his daughter did show up at home????:bolt::bolt::bolt::bolt::bolt:

Haha, well that may be better suited for the police. If I remember correctly I had removed myself from that situation prior to it occurring. If Snorider075 is around maybe he will be able to fill you in a little more on it.

Appreciate what you do Covelli. People tend to take things for granted until they need assistance. Then they stop b*tchin! I spend time in a similar field, but try to put the flames to rest before the houses (or towns) catch a'blaze. I'm on down time at the moment working an odd job to try and rack away those bills they give you when you try to further your edumacation. Be back soon though

For this I say thanks, although there is none needed. I love my job and chose to do it. Nobody made me do it. We all should be appreciated for our jobs equally, with the exception of the military. Those are the guys who allow all of us to choose what we do in life. IMO

Im not sure what happened. I am sure there was some type of misunderstanding and there was a good reason she didnt make it home like the weather or something that kept her from arriving home.:noidea: I'm with Covelli on this one career wise. BEST JOB IN THE WORLD!! Do agree the politics part sucks though.

Me and the wife own a well servicing company, we dig up all the oil we burn up in these sleds, so keep riding. Our sons are running the company so we are free to ride whenever there is snow, mainly at our cabin near the flat tops. We also cruise the country in summer in one of our corvettes. Nice to be an american...

I see you spend time in Meeker, I grew up there. Good area to sled and not crowded.

PLUMBER

I am a master plumber and own my own company, High Resolution Plumbing down here in Denver, but work anywhere from Boulder and Longmont down to Littleton and Lone Tree. If anyone needs anything plumbing related give me a shout or check out my website highresolutionplumbing.com. All my info is there if you need to get ahold of me. I do pretty much everything from service, drain cleaning, remodels, gas piping, new homes, small and big jobs, residential and light commercial.

Thanks,
Joe

I make people....three of them so far. Better at making girls...but could probably crank out a boy if needed.

Hardest part is raising them...spend all my free time doing that. Volunteer at their schools, drive them around to all their appointments, plus feed and clothe them.

One of the best jobs on the planet for sure.

Get some help from the Wife...she's pretty cool too.

I am a Land Surveyor/Engineering Technician for Freeport-McMoRan. I work underground and on the surface.

Fast Rider and I both worked for the Forest Service out in WA two years ago, hes a pretty good guy and can turn a few bolts if needed, just don't let him rip down into any bowl late in the day with his short track, results are he'll be riding bitch with ya for 12 miles and your nuts will be a little sore when ya get home...:face-icon-small-ton

Work for the Forest Service out of Taos, NM during the summer and enjoy the snow in the winter

Software engineer for a big commercial software company. It pays the bills and I work from home. Did DoD contracting for ten years before that, never being home.

We (my wife) own and operate a restaurant/bar called 'Max & T's Bar and Grill' in Grand Lake, Colorado, the self-proclaimed 'Snowmobile Capital of Colorado', although as of this moment we can only lay claim to the title 'Capital of Not Much Snow'. Grand Lake's busiest season is Summer time, so that doesn't interfere with my sledding obsession. Don't let my screen-name fool you, I used to own a modded 07 Apex until some SkiDoo Factory Engineers (SkiDoo has a test facility here) allowed me to test-ride a prototype 2011 Summit Etec back in 2009 and I was HOOKED. Put my Apex up for sale the next day and never looked back. I can ride most days during the week with a little notice, and sometimes on the weekends in the morning. Let me know (PM me) if you're coming up to Grand Lake and I'll try to hook up with you.

Otherwise, stop-in at Max & T's after your ride and ask for Max and I'll buy you a Shirley Temple!

I own a tower construction company based out of Denver. Have guys traveling the country, go pretty much any where the work is. Always looking for solid hardworking guys. Shoot a PM if anyone or know of anyone looking for work.

Me too always looking for network engineers. It's a pretty demanding job (at least 50% travel and you wear many hats) so if you like snowdays don't bother. Location doesn't matter. Security Clearances a plus but not necessary.

Always looking for some good sales guys/gals.

Are you sure that degree of yours doesn't read ART?? Cuz you sure do know how to paint a picture

I work for my dad selling bulk CDs/ DVDs, packaging, CD/DVD replication & duplication equipment. Doesn’t necessarily allow for the newest toys & equipment but does maintain the toys for a few snow (I mean sick) days.
