I am thinking about what to do to my 2009 M8 for next year. I have been researching mods and prices and I have come up with some ideas...
-a HMP seat
-D&D Big Dawg Barker can and Y-pipe
-Boondocker NOS kit - already have the control box

Does anyone have any feedback on these items, good or bad? Any other suggestions?

Thanks for your help!! :beer;

Ps. I really want a turbo but can't afford it... :(

I dont know much about the D&D stuff. But if it were me I'd go for some REAL performance mods like some clutching and a complete exhaust system.

I like having adjustable/tunable clutching. By using some adjustable weights in the primary and a secondary clutch kit of your choice. I really like the Cutler stuff for both of those.:)

And as far as the exhaust systems go. I feel like you get very minimal gains just doing a Y-pipe, pipe and can. To get the full benefit of the exhaust systems you really need to do a some porting and a high compression billet head and the increased motor cooling that comes from a good billet head is nice too.:rolleyes:

Then on top of that you do your Nos and the seat:D:beer;

get yourself a dual egt, then a full exhaust system, slp or speedwerx, maybe an intake, some porting, rkt billet head, clutching, vents (side, speedo, and shock tower), and your seat. If you do all of this stuff you will lose about 25lbs and gain 20+ hp turning your sled into an animal!

Hey i got a D&D Y and Big Dog Barker Can on my 09 HCR and it rips and sounds awesome. I hear the D&D shim kit is great too. I am putting on a D&D pipe this summer got the BD box already to go. :beer;

Thank you all for the information... Frosty, your post was very helpful. I have lots to research now!! I have already gotten a HMP seat and side vents from xxxmodrod.com I need to install.

Great, I am glad to be able to help you out.

Do a search and you'll find plenty of posts discussing the topic.

Best of luck
