it sucks you guys are having these issues and you hate to see anyones product draged thru the mud. it sounds like they are trying to help.
the 500's are a different animal. guys think they make lots of power. stock they really don't. what they do make is good power at almost every rpm. there's no hit like a smaller motocross bike. anyhow maybe thats part of the reason guys are having trouble tuning them? the power curve is very un two stroke. the carb probably needs to be more spot on with a 500 as almost every rpm is usable. where with a smaller bike you just wick it up to the top. just my dumb theory.
the primer is a must do. i count get my pwk to both start and idle well without one.
