Has anyone had issues on Ebay?

Ok I bought my son a new hockey bag for his b-day on Ebay. I bought the bag on Nov 10th and got the bag on Dec 5th. It took forever to come. Then it came and it does not have a retractable handle as shown in the picture ad and in the description.

I have sent this dude messages and he keeps telling me it has a retractable handle. I told him I would send him pics to prove it doesn't have a handle.

He just sent this back:

yes it does have a retractable handle I always put the same description as per manufacture box. check my feedback. don t forget this is a hockey bag and not a luggage so the handle is not very long....

There is NOT a handle! I gave him another chance and said if you don't fix this I am going to give you bad feedback and open an Ebay case on you. He lives in Quebec.

Anyone have any Ebay advice? I bought the damn bag mainly for the wheels and the retractable handle.

Then its gotta have a handle hidden, Sometimes they hide that silly little sucker under a zipper. I'm just saying why would they waste the money building a bag with wheels and not put a handle on it. I'm not calling you out, i'm just tring to be helpful.

I suppose it could have been assembled on a friday, and its a mess up. But there is no reason for wheels and not have a handle.

If its not there, send him some bad rep, and go get your money back.

I have been over the bag probably 10 times. It is impossible it can have a retractable handle. I have opened every zipper and looked in every compartment. I can tell where the retractable handle should go but the canvas from the bag covers the opening. The bag has two canvas handles on top so you can pull the bag by the canvas handle, but the bag is going to smack you in the legs as you pull it.

This guy doesn't seem like he is going to cooperate. It appears he won't give me a refund or send me the right one. How would I get a refund if he won't cooperate?

Ya, usually they slide in that frame work. I'd give him the bad rep, tell ebay he sent you a defunct bag and you want to file a dispute. That will get him moving on it.


Have you tried out the treadmill yet?

I've seen that too. I was about 7 shades of pizzed off by the time I realized that the little zipper was concealing the handle. If that isn't the case, send the dude pics and if he still doesn't agree, then by all means open a case against him since he isn't holding up his end of the deal.

Open a claim with ebay and with paypal. Did the same thing last year on a clutch that I never received. Paypal was no help but ebay itself gave me a refund asap.

Ya like I said there is no way there is retractable handle in that bag. I have been in every nook and cranny. I was red like you when I saw there was no handle...I was 20 shades of red when he told me the handle was there and 40 shades of red when he told me the handle was there a second time!

Ya I decided to open a case on Ebay...just finished it. I sent him another message telling him I decided to do that, but I am giving him one last chance to redeem himself in regards to the feedback.

guess I should have been more specific, LOL. I was talking about the treadmill feature. Its under the new posts tab. It lets you see all posts in real time. Anyway Good luck with the bag, I know how it is when a b-day present goes bad, I'd be fuming too.
