My favorite song from the South Park gang is Erik Cartman's "In the Ghetto". So now when I am on here looking for threads with low counts to review I can hum In the Ghetto to myself and be happy.

Although I agreed that the site ought to be able to support itself on ad revenue, when they threw in the ability to be able to view back issues of Sledheads and Snowest, I could at least see some value added there.
I don't like the way they flipped a switch overnight and locked things down with no warning, but it's their sandbox. I enjoy the forum and am willing to give it a couple bucks to see how things go. I enjoy the other sites too, not just Snowest, but Snowest had kind of become a favorite of mine. $10 a year didn't seem unreasonable.

Nope, haven't paid and probably not going to.......I haven't been here long enough to really mis it. And besides, most of the people I know on here went to BCR, so I went there for conversation and ride reports....I tend to get most of my tech info from DooTalk seeing how I ride Doo....

We'll see what happens after all the initial hate and discontent has time to settle out. There is a ton of tech tips from years past on this site that is well worth the $10. Other sites will gain from SnoWest's loss of some members, but I think this site will recover and remain as a quality forum.

I won't pay. I am on Dootalk, which also has a Alaska forum under the US regional Forum, and BCR.
For skidoo tech stuff nuthin compares to Dootalk.

I also will not be buying anymore of the SW magazines as the only useful information I have ever gotten from one is to clean the inside of the spark plug caps.
