Like the topic says, has anyone bent/cracked their M series Better Boards?

If so, how did you fix it? Please post a picture!

Thanks in advance. :beer;

If they broke without a good cause I would contact Rob (F-Bomb). I am guessing he would take care of you.

Thanks, just looking to see if anyone has had any issues with the boards and how they resolved it.

My snow eliminators are bent down in the middle. The reason for this is that whoever put them on used aluminum rivets and they strech and cause the center portion to be able to sag. I am just going to drill out all the old rivets, bend the edges of the running board back up and replace all the rivets with stainless steel ones.

On my M7 they started to tear/crack right wear the the treads meet the base.
In the corners at the bend. Hairline cracks.... not broken through.

When installing them I had nightmares of my foot going through and cutting my calf muscle off:D:D

The rider may have had a little bit to do the "better boards" starting to crack? Maybe?;)

Good to know, mine are the same. Have you done anything about it or are you still riding it?

I have Snow Eliminators. Pieces Of CRAP. 5 rides and cracked, My Brother in 1 season has holes you can put your foot through. 6 more sets in my riding group are cracked and broken. Cost me 159 bucks to get 2 sets warrentied. They all failed in the same spots, at each end of the cleets. Im 150lbs with my gear on. The bigger guys in our group distroyed them fast. I think its crap we put up with this..

Sold the sled in the spring and let the buyer know. He was only 120 soaking wet so he should be fine. I would have picked up a new pair and reinstalled.

As for you Schuelke.... the smack down begins

What really pisses me off is that I followed the recommended install to cut the old running boards right out, thinking that these would be strong enough.

Guess I'll have to put a Van Am tunnel on it like I should have in the first place

You think you're buying the best and you get something else........

Let us know how they turn out, My snow eliminators are bent, broke, and cracked. Not the the quality I hade expected.

do you have pictures of your issue? have you contacted rob? we have 20+ sets of his boards in our direct riding group, all guys 200+lbs with gear on and have never had any issues (also noticed that everyone on here with a problem was referring to snow eliminators not betterboards)

Might try CPC boards .. no issues after 2 hard seasons (I'm not a jumper, though).

Yes I have pictures available and yes I have contacted Rob. I wanted to leave that out of it because I'm not here to drag anyone through the mud. I just wanted to know if I'm the only one with these issues and how they were fixed if they do exist.

I'm ~200lbs suited up. The other set I installed on an identical sled do not have the same issues. However, my riding buddy is 20-30lbs lighter than me.

My issues were discovered after less than 10 days of riding.
