Has anybody installed--SLP Nose Cone Block Off?

If you stay on the pipe, it really doesn't build up much, in my experience. If I had to measure buildup, it got up to the swaybar on my buggy.

When we were testing this we found that it is completely dependent on the snow conditions. The finer snow particals seem to come in easier and for some reason, even if you are hard under acceleration. We kept getting chunks of ice forming in the nose over time so the plate fixed that.

Put one on my Assault. Left it off of the Pro. It's going on the Pro when the Skiz bumper gets installed. It works.
Nuf said.

I never put one on and I never did see any snow accumulation. Guess the pipe just melts everything that gets in there.

It's kinda like that stupid foot well plate, I can't remember how many headlight deep days we had in CO this year, neither one was ever an issue.

Dude, no disrespect to SLP but I had multiple days of epic snow so powdery and good that it was laughable. Point is I have never had an issue with snow getting under my hood. I regularly roll it, carve it, and beat the chit out of it. Just can't see the need for block off footwell plates or nosedive caps. This is just my opinion on the matter. Seems like a lot of money to throw away for no significant impact.

I don't think it is needed for every day you ride but I purchased one after spending a week of riding between Lava Hot Springs area and Island Park. Opened up the hood to check some stuff and noticed quite a good sized chunk of ice in there. Do it or don't do it. I think it's a preference thing to be honest.
