Happy 4th Fawkers!!!!

Hangin in there my brotha! workin for da man...Heading to Hawaii for a spell here soon. How's fatherhood treatin ya?

Been an easy summer here. mostly working local. The HI gig is surveying a 17 sq. KM parcel for an army foot training, live fire training course on Pohakuloa training area. "interestingly" it's just inside a high explosive impact area (where they fire artillery...etc...). It's not that hazardous, but me and my crew will have to wear flak jackets and army hats. The $108 bucks a day food per-diem for a few months will def buy some much needed cat parts! shooty, I can eat for 15 bucks a day in a condo :)

lol, that's Hawaiian bra...Not sure the intelligence of going into an area with the potential for unexploded ordnance! no hazard pay even.

I've spent a few years on the islands in month long chunks over the past 20 years. Great place to vacation and blow wads of cash, but you couldn't pay me enough to live there. The whole place is designed for vacationers and rich folks and if your not one of them it gets old quick.

My neighbor, Ed Wynne "does" that kind of music. His band is Ozric Tentacles....check em out, they're world wide...opparently... Trippin mofo's. Bought the house down the street and changed it into a recording studio.

Kona is THE happenin tourist spot on the big island for sure. Should be a great time for your family. I've Stayed there a few times, but it's a haul up to PTA so I usually stay in Waikoloa or Waimaea.
