handle bar riser

i was woundering what would be the best riser to have without having to extend cables. i thought i read in anouther post about a 4.5 that works . buut i havent ben able to find anyone the sells them.

I did the fly 5", on top of the t-post converter. I did have to extend my brake lines, but not my throttle cables or wires.

I also used studs and nuts (the fly risers are flat on the outsides of the caps) for superior clamping force. I recommend this to anyone who is concerned with the bars flopping on the pivots.

I started a thread with these details layed out in the OP, it's about the mods I did to my D8 and why.

I have been able to get up to and no more...8 inches on the 08 d8. I only had to discconect the brake line and reroute it. Didnt even have to bleed the brakes. Took off the master cyl. cover and pumped it a few times and the little air came right out.
I used the Fly Risers also. I took all the Allens out of the bottom and put in SS bolts. You cant get an alen wrench into the bottom out on the snow if they slip. The bolts work better and you can get to them easier..just like Polarexpress stated!
