Hand warmer issues

I've got a 2015 Polaris Pro and am now having hand warmer issues. The left warmer works perfectly but the right one only works on low, not on high. Should I be testing ohms to figure things out or should I just replace the right warmer? My dealer is 70 miles away and I am thinking about making a trip. I want to get a gameplay before I head out

My 14 is doing the same thing only it works on high and not low. Last time it didn't work I found a solder that came off. Might try that. It's my first place I'm going to check.

I would check the wires on under the grips and also check the connectors on the on/off switch. They don't have any type of clip to keep them from coming off. I took those 3M sticky zip tie anchors and put a tie over them.

When I corked my bars I took the grips and the heating elements off the bar. I found some thin cork mat I think from an art/crafts store. Glued it to the bars. Glued the heating element back on and put the grips back over. I used zip ties to hold the cork and the heating element on while the glue dried (let the glue on the cork dry before you glue the heating element on). Also used an air compressor to help get the grips on and off. Just stuck the nozzle under the grip and gave short blast of air and it helped. Never have to use high any more and it gave the bar a little more diameter which I like.

Got the idea from this thread:

Also saw on some other threads instead of cork people using shrink wrap under the heating element. Never tried that one so I can't say how well it works

Check with WPS i bought some cork wrap that was made specifically to go on handlebars under the warmer. I did this three years ago on my 13 pro and have loved it. No glue required they had stickum on one side of the cork board.
