Hahns Peak area riding info

Looking for info on backcountry riding in the Hahns Peak area. Planning on possibly staying at Steamboat Lake Outpost. If anyone has stayed here and has an idea on what its like itd be appreciated! Have a few questions:

How much open riding area is there and is it comparable to rabbit ears or the flat tops?
How long of a ride is it to get to the off trail areas?
Can you get to buffalo pass or rabbit ears from there without trailering?

Haven’t stayed there but the terrain is pretty open with large meadows and some open trees to ride. The trees are far more open than buff or rabbit ears, but the snow doesn’t get as deep. You can’t get to buff or rabbit ears without a trailer from hahn’s. There is a lot of riding really the only boundary is the zeirekel wilderness which lies to the east of hahns and north of buff.

Just looking for some deep powder mainly. The less traffic the better also. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint I just booked some cabins
