Gun dealers sold out

Went into my gun dealer today and there was a line to buy the few guns he had left. ARs are almost sold out almost everywhere, Was it this way with the Clinton ban? Its crazy and the dicknob hasnt even banned them yet.

I bought my son a .270 Saturday for elk hunting. The usual backlog for the back ground check on a Saturday is 45. It was over 500 this weekend and took 4 1/2 hours to clear.

plenty of em around the few shops i have gone into... but there were definately more people wandering the gun section, and looking and buying... i havent found a store that wasnt almost sold out of .45 acp though!! still tons of normal ammo, but .45 supplies had been ravaged!!

Ammo or guns on the 45? Have you seen the Springfield 45 deal? SWEET! Gun 4 mags 3 holsters and a case for $450-$500 depending on dealer.

I know a few shops I'll be swinging through once I get back to Wyo. Meant to buy a new Glock before the election but put it off thinking there wouldn't be this bad of a rush.

That was a bad idea on my part. Doubt they will still have the Glock I want in stock since the last article I read stated its the biggest selling gun in teh nation right now.

Buying guns is one thing being able to use them is another. In Canada we can buy hand guns but only place we can use them is a gunrange.Cant carry them around in the truck for protection legally.Hate to see your laws go that way.

I took a little rooting around on the web, but I found two Colt AR-15's in the model I was seeking at a reasonable price. I had to use the FFL exchange, but they're en route. It's not over yet.

MtnDoo.

Buying Gun's will not be to bad Under OButthead, Might get a little harder but what they are talking about doing is a 500% Tax on ammo. So you can have your gun just go broke if u shoot it:mad: I have quite a few Guns and have been stocking up on ammo for all of them. With Obutthead in there the End may be near but it will be a good time if you are properly equipped :face-icon-small-sho:face-icon-small-hap

chit my old man isn't even buying ammo. He's stocked on powder, brass and primers.....he's collecting old wheel weights.

Good little tip for anyone taking up reloading or those who all ready do. I mean if you want to hurt folks just take bullets for reloading away or raise the price....unless you have lead and molds.

Try to find an AR magazine in stock right now, it is rather difficult.

Yup, went AR shopping today and it's thin pickens. One shop has already raised thier price $100 from last time I was there and still almost sold out. Go figure.
