Growing a Successful Mullet.

9 x 45=405
2 x 25=50
2 x 10=20
2 x 5=10
485

They are either 35/25/10 or they are 25/10/5.
I'm going with the 2nd one.

I was adding up the weight on the bar, looking at Turbo Tim's dead lift.

(side note: I started lifting weights at age 50, and had to quit at 59 after I fell off the sled and severely damaged my left elbow. I'm limited to 10 lb. on that arm now. :( )
So.....
I might be a little off on the smaller plates, goin' from memory...
the bar weighs 45 lb.
There are 8, 45 lb plates,
Plus the smaller ones X2
The "keepers" about 1 or 2 lb to be picky.
I'm thinking he's lifting from 460 to 500 lb.

How close am I?

Best I was able to do at dead lift was about 200 lb.

Classic river mullet with the fu man chu..add some skunk highlights and the money is yours. If you take any pictures make sure you drink a few pots of coffee so your eyes bug out a little.

It's 440 boys........

360lb in 45's
20lb in 10's
10lb in 5's
5lb in 2.5's
and the bar weighs 45

plus the collars ~ 1lb ;)

How do you get 360 on the 45s? Did you forget to weigh the bar?

I showed it to a co-worker who is about 3 years out of NFL retirement as an O-lineman...

He confirmed my 485. (Without the collars) LOL

I looked a little closer at the pic......... you are correct sir. (I was a gym rat for 10 years myself) I first thought the wear rings on the outside of the 45 had the 35lb and 25lb rings showing, but I didn't look close enough. Yeah, 4 plates and a bar is 405, but just the plates gives you 360. I was just breaking it down with the bar seperate............anywho I was wrong.
