Gripper's on a 900

What cushions and what spindles are you using? Stock spindles will not work with '07 and up "Gripper cushions". My stock cushions were shot so I did not use them and I had to Jerry rig up my cushions. Luckily I had some spares from back in the Indy days. Also you will want to make sure that your a-arms are NOT bent. I see you have the front end all taken apart. One of my a-arms was bent and I had to do my cushions differently from one side to the other. Also I see your in Anchorage. Feel free to contact me on any 900 questions you may have. I just moved to Eagle River 3 weeks ago and have yet to meet any real friends aside from work and my roommates friends.

I have one broken a-arm and one bent. The sled is coming apart right now. I started out stock and rode it 1/2 a season before I tore up my knee and the sled. I'm replacing the engine mounts adding a push and torque arm, ski's and vents. If I have enough leftover in the budget I may upgrade the shocks. The sled was well maintained but I was starting to wear belts so I suspect the mounts may be bad

Note: Sidehiller II's mounting kits and carbides work on the gripper ski's also.

Not true. The carbides are different and the mount bolts from the sidehillers are shorter than grippers. I just tried to swap the stuff over and it isn't the same. I have to make another trip and spend more money at the dealer now.

You are correct, Sorry.

The only thing that is the same is the ski rubber. The bolt and carbides are different. I bought my Grippers as a complete kit but was told by the dealer the mount and carbide kits were the same.
