Gripper ski design makes the PRO useless

Like LH said... the C&A may be an option...But I did not see anyone post up definitive results with photos yet.
I have a set and will try to install them for this season.

Ski Doo Rubbers
Looks like the Doo part #505072594 covers most of their sleds - Summit X, Xm, etc. $12.50 each via Dirt Cheap Snow. Looking at the fiche diagram, they seem to be twice as wide as the Poo OEM rubbers(as 2mileshigh stated). Look to be comparable to the C&A rubbers. At least there are some options available in order to rectify this problem.

Went ahead and ordered the C&A isolators and got them today,
I used a die grinder to cut grooves in the isolator. Easy for the grinder to walk, sorry. Not bad it takes some effort to get the skis on now about 1/2 a hole off. Used a spud wrench to line up the inside hole and spindle.
Seem to be much better than stock. Skis do not flop like the stock isolators allowed and sit level.
Need snow now and that is going to be awhile.

Just wanted to revive this thread and give everyone a clear answer. I just installed some 2013 gripper skis on my 2011 sled. and i used c&a rubber for 2011 rush,rmk,switchback model #76000270 you only need to ask for the rubbers. They are 10 bucks a piece and a little over $5.00 for shipping $25.80 total. I DID NOT need to dremel anything or grind any plastic to fit these on the stockers. They fit nearly perfect in the saddle with maybe a solid 1/8 inch of space on each side compressed.
I used a 2x4 and 4x4 block to get the bolt hole lined up, and like the classic c&a ski's there was a really solid pressure to get them on. Nice and tight!
I don't think i'll have a single problem this season besides having ultra responsive steering haha, and the plus point is if you want to sell your ski's they are not ground to pieces for someone that want's to use stock rubbers.
The final picture shows how the ski actually gained a little bit of lift on the front end, but is basically straight as an arrow. I hope this helps others who are ditching the stock rubbers once and for all.
On a side note wjl's die grinded rubbers may very well be solid as a rock as well, but i wanted to keep the ski's clean for resale value, and am 100% satisfied with the end result because as we all know you don't even need to move the ski around with the stock rubbers to get the bolt in. This took significant effort but with a rubber weighted mallot i did both ski's in 10 minutes.

Ditto on the C&A rubber, just put them in and run it, no more problem. Ran them all last season on Whiz-Bangs 13.

Just clarifying a few minor details;
From the C&A website; the Part # you gave is the kit containing the parts and part numbers below. So we should be able to buy just the dampner like wjl did, as that is all we need. Question, Is part number 77000271, molded with the grooves in the bottom or does it sit on top of them? Thank You

i specified that part number because you call C&A and you will probably speak to some very friendly sales women working there. You specify the number i gave and then tell them you only want the dampeners.
I listed that part number because it is for the actual design of the rubber dampener itself if you ignore the bolts and hardware. They are 10.00 a piece and shipping is a little over $5.00. I've done this twice now takes all of 10 minutes to make an order with C&A and they ship super fast to the west. Hope that clears things up. The part number i listed sits on top of the ski groove.
Part #77000271 also sits on top of them but has more material on the bottom and may need to be modified or just pried to go on. I've had both dampeners in my hands and the 77000271 is noticeably stiffer and the salesman actually said they were advising people to put them in warm water to soften them up for installation but i found that #76000270 can be used without any modification and is miles ahead of the stockers. I just used the rubber from an xp or xm. I had to notch the rubber to fit the grove in the center of the ski, but it was simply with an exacta knife. Very happy with the results.

Tried ordering the 76000270, she said it was a "kit", so she said the rubbers were #76000271. I went to put them in today and they were a lot lower. 1-1/4" high compared to 1-9/16" high(stock). I could shim the bottom to make them fit snug. I'm wondering if she sent the wrong ones? O if I should have gone with the 266's?
