Greenwater Report - today 2/5/11

Thought I would report as I found myself getting pist that nobody ever does!

Greenwater today was actually alright. Arrived to be the 11th rig in the parking lot! Roads of coarse were clear; some mud slides were just cleaned off ( we passed the plow).

From the snow park it was Mostly dirt riding up to and just past the 7065 rd cutoff (1.9miles to be exact). The groomer was parked right there. Beyond that was flat and buffed cordaroy like the pants mom used to buy at JC Pennys... Not alot of snow, but go anywhere conditions and we found some sunshine on the back side of Pyramid pass for lunch!

Some fog rolled in as we crossed up and back over the top but all in all we had a clear, DRY day!

Probably toast and too embarassed to talk about it.

Do they have it blocked at the end of the pavement?? They should be letting you drive to the upper gravel pit, or at the very least 7065. That's what can be effed up with the FS.

Yes, unfortunately the road closed signs were up at the snow park. Although 2 pickups were up at the 7065 waiting for tickets. Luckily the trucks were gone later when I passed the FS Cop on my way out. 2 weeks ago I passed a guy in a pickup 1/2 way to the cabin. Later the cop told us he wrote him.

After 1.9 miles of dirt road, what did your hyfax look like?

Does anyone ever use a lube like dish soap or ??? if you know you'll be runnin in the dirt for a mile or more..??..

oh there are updates..scroll down.it was dirt to the and spotty after that 3 weeks ago.

Has it snowed since then????????NO...its rained and been warm.Why report dirt????
