Great mod for any M sled...gauge tilt bracket with vent (pics)

How many of you guys are able to easily see your gauges on you M when you are standing? This is how I check my RPMs, and it is hard to see unless I'm sitting. Even then, I like my bars so high that I have to work to see through them. Check this out!

I was able to pick these up from Matt (Madsigntist) yesterday. He has done an excellent job on the design, quality and finish. The price is very reasonable I think. Best part about it is you get two mods at once....1) venting at the highest level of the hood, and 2) able to tilt the gauge so it can be seen while standing!
Frame with vent bolts to stock gauge pod hole.

Gauge attaches to bracket and it hinges with vented bracket to allow upward tilt. Looks clean and works great!

I like the work bench the hood is sitting on in the last picture.

When I rode the 2010s in the SW 800 shootout two weeks ago, that was my complaint about the M guages.

Why the heck didn't they build them so you can see them standing up to begin with.

nice to see the airbox vented.....got mine did, as she was a boggin mofo with the last storm

Update: I've ridden this sled 3 out of the last 4 days. The tilt gauge bracket rocks!!! As for the extra holes I put in my airbox....the side venting helped a lot. However, I rode the sled with and without the front holes taped over. The sled runs better without the air coming in through these three holes. I think they mess up the cyclonic affect of the hour glass shaped intake or something???

BTW....these tilt brackets for the gauges work great!!! The vent released heat, great for defogging goggles without opening the hood, and so much easier to check RPMs when riding. Anyone with an M not riding with this setup is missing out! Easy and clean install and works as good or better than I could have asked. The price for good workmanship and excellent fit and finish is more than reasonable, IMO!

Kudos to Matt!!!
