snow looks great, couple of those early Feb pics look like potential terrain traps, be careful out there!
 
Just came down from TML this morning. It was dumping when we left at 9:30am. Snow is really hard almost everywhere, but it allows you to go to places you can't normally get to. Sun was great, too hot at times. This current storm will be good. The cabins at TML are in great shape. Good hospitality from Jeff and the group.
 
Thinking about heading out from MN on Wednesday night and heading this way. Never rode in this area but plenty of experience in other places of WY and CO.

Looks like a couple nice places to stay. How about food at the lodges anything offered? I see most of the cabins have kitchens.
Fuel?

Looking for some pointers and details. Snow looks promising? :face-icon-small-hap
 
Alexander lake lodge has food, and a cell phone booster. Thunder mountain lodge has sweet cabins with full kitchens and wifi and are better priced. Cedar edge is about 20 min from the Mesa and has a couple restaurants. I choose to just cook at the cabin and go to the bar at Alexander lake lodge in the evening.thunder mountain also has fuel.
 
Just left the Mesa and about 16" of fresh from this last storm. Don't know what happened to the food at Alexander but not like it used to be. Great steakhouse and bar in Cederedge. Of course we stayed at Grand Mesa Lodge, we love the place.

Last storm? 16" of fresh yesterday? I seen they got snow just haven't seen that much.

We did the Polish buffet and I thought it was great. Still full four days later.
 
Big Storm Thunder Mountain Lodge

We have between 1 and 3 feet so far from this storm. I have drifts in the parking lot that are thigh deep. Still snowing hard and windy. thundermountainlodge.net/snow
