[Grand Mesa Lodge]

We have had 215.5" of snow for the season. More snow in the forecast. Just had a spokeperson form the "highly secret government agency" in and confirmed that the gas has no ethanol. We are getting more as we speak. Shhhhhhh don't tell anyone

Rumor has it that the groomer will be let lose today. So keep an eye out for it.

The Mesa

Wife and I spent the last 8 day's up at Grand Mesa Lodge. We had a BLAST.
Thanks goes out to Mike and Rose the new lodge owners.
Snow was great with the recent storms. We traveled the W and the E end of the Mesa and had no problem finding places to play and spent a lot of time playing in the trees and in the meadows’. Snow was over the hood in many places
We also spent our fair share of getting unstuck from the powder
For those who ride trails the groomer has been out almost none stop last week.
Worst part of the trip was going home.

The Grand mesa got pounded last night with snow. Over 2' fell overnight and it is still snowing hard. Forecast is for 6-10" today and more tonight. Should see some sun tomorrow then more snow Thursday and Friday.

Highway 65 will be closed at 4pm Feb. 28th and won't reopen until around noon tomorrow. Wish I had Scuba Gear and not working this week.

[Grand Mesa Lodge]

We have had close to 40" of snow this week and the forecast calls for more snow today and tomorrow. We got over 8" last night. We are getting buried.

Hwy 65 was closed and reopened yesterday for avalanche control on the north side. If the snow keeps up they might close it again. Just check CDOT or call to find out if it is open.

The weekend looks great. We should have a break in the weather and lots of powder to play in.

WOW JUST WOW!!!!
Amazing snow everywhere, glad Grand Mesa Lodge had gas as we ran out and had to pull the boosted sled back dry.

Add to that Grand Mesa Lodge had Motel rooms for $65 a night and WOW! Two of us stayed for two nights for 130 bucks plus tax!

Mar 6. We are now at 265.5" of snow for the season on the Grand Mesa. Last weeks snow of close to 4' has settled. Lots of powder on top to play in and a great base to get you anywhere. Ride anywhere snow!!! With powder everywhere.

We are forecasted to get snow tonight, Wednesday and Thursday. Don't put your sleds away yet. There is a lot of snow up here and more on the way.

Mike and Rose, You and your family make going home difficult. Great SNOW. The Cabin was GREAT and the rates are very fair and to boot you have premium fuel.
