Grand Mesa Info

Some buddies and I are headed up Thursday, and staying at Grand Mesa Lodge. I guess there is some Ski-doo ride going on this weekend??

Had a couple of questions as this will be our first time:

1. Hows the snow?
2. Where's the nearest place to get groceries?
3. Any suggestions on where to head? Our group will consist of 3 newbs and 3 exeperienced back country riders. For the experienced guys, don't care too much about the hills, like the treess and boondocking.

Thanks,

Karl

Ya, maybe see you there, 2 M series Green and Orange, a Black 1M, 2 old school RMK 800's and a Summit 1000 (That one will be stuck, that's how you can tell it us!).

There is a Ski doo ride going on unfortunatly all time slots were booked up over a week ago. The ride is going out of Thunder Mountain Lodge, that has a restaurant there for all your food needs, breakfast, lunch, dinner and it is really good!!!!!!

heading to Montrose for a meeting Wednesday, bringing sled, looking for someone to ride with Thursday on the Mesa

decent boon docker on 2011 M8:cheer2:

Two of us are up here on the Mesa right now @ Thunder Mountain Lodge. Snow is decent. You can go pretty much anywhere you want (avalanche conditions permitting!) It's not epic, but it beats going to work!

Ill be there Wednesday night late through Monday. Will be staying at Thunder Mountain Lodge! I talked to Cannonman today who said the snow was "hero snow" you can go anywhere.

We'll be at TML Fri, Sat & Sun. Ask for Mark, Wayne or Woody. There will be 12-15 of us but we'll cover some ground and our wifes all ride 800 XPs but they can ride with the best of us. Any of you are more than welcome to ride with us.

Great riding with you guys
