CDOT JUST CALLED AND HWY 65 IS CLOSED DUE TO AVY. May not open until Monday morning. Last night I got caught in a small slide in my truck going through there. Slid the rear of the truck about 3-4 feet, it scared the S*** out of me. I think the south route is for me from now on.

I wish we had known that Sunday morning. I guess I should check the Road&Weather. We were turned around above Mesa Lakes. Had to go to Bonham. It was a cluster. Trucks off the road. Could not get to the parking lot. Had to park off the side of the road below. Oh well. We still rode. Snow was great. Deep. Did not have time to get over and see you Mark.

Glad your OK Mark. Winterfreak and I had that section slide right behind us about 5 yrs ago. Sammy, I can only imagine what Bohnam was like. Hope you had a good ride despite the parking nightmare.

Bohica and i did ride on Saturday. Seems we where the only ones that made it pass Big Creek. We did head east a bit on the SP and then Coyote's sled went down. Spent the rest of day, towing it out.

Handlebar deep, WOT everywhere or else.......should have fresh pics tomorrow..

I checked it before I left and so did my buddy. It said it was open. (6:45am ish) IIRC the sign through the canyon said open too.

Oh well, we just rode out just above Mesa Lakes.
