Got my new sled! What are you adding to yours?

Sorry for my ignorance but what is a float plate?
Skinz plastic skid plate. Mine has been slid over plenty of stuff. Crazy how much it helps keep the front up in the bottomless powder, but it sometimes seems to tip it back and trench.

I try not to change a-arms often. Doesn't make it any harder, unless you're lacking a few tools.

My 4 snow check LW fox coil Khaos geometry shocks shipped from BBA today.

My 165x2.75 boost will be getting also.
BPWR A arms
Khaos limiter straps (to match the shocks)
Brake lever
Intake Vent protectors
TKI 9” wheel setup
Gripper ski braces.
Poured polyurethane ski rubbers.
Custom footwell hoops. (They are already known to break easily)

I'm also adding hardened wear bars and dumping the carbides - we ride some rocky country and catching a carbide on a rock under the snow tends to wad up alot of A arms .... if removing the carbides saves an A-arm or two I'm all for it.

Where do I find the footwell hoops? Also what is a gripper ski brace?

If you are running the WE shocks.

These really tighten up even brand new skids.
ok, Im lazy! What do these Bushings do again?

Replace the oem rubber sloppy bushings with super tight fitting Delrin.

Grab your back bumper when the sled is on the floor and lift.
There’s 1”-3” of slack before the track comes off the ground. (And the shocks are already fully extended)

It’s all slop in the pivot points of your suspension.

1” is brand new.
2” is about 100 miles
3” is about the average of most sleds with WE shocks.

Swap in the bushings to a 1500 mile sled and it takes on average 2” of slop out of it. (By that mileage there’s other worn suspension parts but these are the cheapest and easiest tightening method bang for buck)

A new sled goes from 1” slop to about 1/4”.

All this does is give you extra suspension.

My buddy had a m66 or 2.6 inch version and it's fine but quite a bit heavier and doesn't like sugar snow. I think polaris's series 8 is a better track. Have not tried the 770

The M770 consistently outperforms the m66.

Khaos burandt shocks and limiter strap installed.
