Got a bike and a Kit and Now I Have a Couple Newbie Questions

I looked today M5, the bike has 32 hours on it and 639 miles.

Is that a lot or a few?

I was told the valves were just done and the piston was replaced as well, just because?

That's nothing, mine had over 400 hours on it and 6000 dirt miles before I had to re do the motor, it was still running strong just burning a bunch of oil. If you know the initial valve set has been done at about 10 hours your are good to go otherwise I would check them and set them to spec as they will move after break in.

Throw a JD jet kit there, gut the pipe if it hasn't been done, pull off all the smog crap and ride the crap out of it.

Yes, the valves were just done and the bike has the JD jet kit and a FMF pipe from the header back.

I still want to make a wheeled dealy for the front ski. Does anyone have dimensions of their wheel kit?

How long are the axles? How wide is too wide?

It looks like I will be using 10" pneumatic wheels from Harbor Freight.

I will just order some aluminum rod off of Ebay and some rectangular block and just do it!

Don't waste your money on the TS brake line. I went through this company on ebay and you get two 5' SS braided lines, washers and bolts for half the cost of the TS unit.

The initial investment is high so I'm all for finding ways to make it cheaper!

oh, and I built a wheeled cart but hated it and now just use a cheap harbor freight dolley to move it around in the garage.
