damn.. in the layout of your quote, i cannot read your quote as i type this.
however.... sorry sir, i can not go back and look, as i can not see the thread since you deleted it. so if you wait for me to go back and look, you would be waiting a VERY long time.
and i wasnt whole heartedly pushing anything, as at the beginning, i clearly stated that i dont care if people like it, hate it, or ignore it. and it was established MANY times, that the only reason it got so detailed was because people publically tried to make a fool out of me, and do a little mocking here and there... actually, more like everywhere. it eventually got to the point that people were frusturated that i was destroying every thought they had on the matter, AND calling them out on how they care more about their ego than the helpful info to where they tried to post a bunch of nonsense to distract readers of the thread into thinking the thread was worthless.
but i was satisfied knowing i had won every single arguement, to where i decided to let it go, and go with the flow.
As a salesman you would do well to recognize a classic tactic of a person that is not interested in your product.
By "Winning" every argument you did not accomplish anything. Did you actually manage to persuade any of those you were "Winning" arguments to purchase your product?
Mostly what you did was feed into their tactic of getting you riled up and off topic to waste your time. You did not win anything. YOU succeeded in getting a thread about your business closed.

That was so lame to delete that thread. 
Actually quite a few of the mods have given input on the thread right from the start. It was brought up immediately that the thread was an advertisement and we came to a mutual agreement to let it ride and see what happened. Well, it got interesting.... there were more reported posts in that single thread than there were across the whole site in the last 3 weeks... and not just mods, but other users asking us to step in and do something.
While many of the moderators gave input on posts to attend to or courses of action to take, I was the one who made the final call to get the thread off the boards, after quite a few deleted posts, a lot of squabbling and a total loss of focus including profanity lain pics and general non-sense it was clear to see there was no benefit left to leaving the thread up... so it's gone.
Just as it says right at the top of Fouled Plug... "Keep It Clean."

like i had said in the other thread, and this one, it was established that i had full understanding that people might "hate" the info for whatever reason they may have, therefore not caring about what they had said or thought, but handing their words back to them, and educating them on what they thought something was, and how they might be thinking the way they were thinking.
and it was established that i was having fun with the thread as they were, yet, putting them in their place when they thought they could deem me as an uneducated 23 year old that bit into everything. kinda taking care of 2 things at once. so it was my poor choice of words when i say "riled up"
and also challenging myself to see if i could keep up with people of an older age in terms of having everything thrown at me. so yeah, i feel proud of myself for that.
and it was established that i didnt care about anything snowest users thought of me, as i have 4 million people in washington that i can make use of with my network. as well as the millions of people in other states, and all over the world. and it was established that i was more concerned about delivering helpful info to at least SOME on here which was a success.
and its funny that you go back and erase something you had previously posted, and replaced it with other words so that the other people reading THIS thread, might have no clue what i was talking about when i try to make a statement on something you had said. making me believe you might be abusing your power. maybe? idk. just a thought.
off topic? i believe i diverted the attention back to the topic several times and continued to furthur educate the people that thought that they knew so much with their age.
and im sure they were intertained as well, when i look at the thread and see the users who were still reading it. whether they agree with me or not. and im still kinda happy, that i did change someones thoughts about something. even they were enjoying going back and forth, they still had their opinions that they had at the beginning, and those opinions, as a result of being further educated had changed. at least for some of the people.

Most of your pictures were fine. Some of them were really nice. Its the ones that had profanity DIRECTLY in the picture that violated the Snowest user agreement that were the problem.
If you guys want to bash each other and whatever else thats up to you, but you wont be posting pictures of profanity on here ever again. If you didnt know, once thats fine. I will give anyone a second chance. We understand not everyone reads or knows the rules. However, repeated abuse of the rules becomes a problem. Keep it clean and it wont be a problem. You can get the same point across without profanity than you can with. This site has some of the most lenient moderation on the net... If you think the moderation here is tough you cant have participated in to many other sites out there, most places you would be gone for good for posting things like that.

at the beginning, i said i didnt want to be accused of trying to make it seem like too much of an advertisement, as i was bringing forth information that may be helpful to some, and i didnt care the outcome. and a discussion forum is a tool for people to recieve helpful information, so when someone accuses me of being a scammer as one had said, "good luck scamming people", i definitely wanted to set that straight... because why would i try scamming people that shared the same passion as i? (snowmobiling)
at least whoever thought i was a scammer now knows i am nothing of the sort.
the people who opened their mind before they opened their mouth, and pm'd me, there was no such arguements back and forth, because they knew that i was giving them helpful information. the information was deliverd civilly and it was accepted civilly.
mods, are you able to read other peoples pm's? just curious...
they had gotten all their questions answered much more quickly than the people responding in the thread.
and my only guess of who might have asked the mods to step in are the people that dished out insults and accusations, and couldnt take it when it was directed to them. instead, no insults were coming to them from my end. well... until i called them out on their egocentric ways.... as we are men, we naturally try to get the last word, and prove our point. which is what is being done right now. back and forth. back and forth..
so as i still see it, its everyone elses fault that the thread got to the point that it did.
i wonder what its like in congress when they argue back and forth?
No actually those guys were kind of upset that I didn't just let them continue on in the direction it had taken. It was other fellow Snowesters that didn't like the direction the whole thing had taken.

I did not ask to be a moderator. It was the other way around. I was asked to be one and took care of the Idaho section for awhile.
No I do not call the cops when someone speeds down my street. Rexburg, ID is a college town and despite the economy is doing quite well. We are still building apartments and houses to accomodate all the new students at BYU-I. I used to live on a dead end street. Now with all the new housing and building it is one of the most direct routes to the college. We, the citizens had enough of the speeding cars that we got a petition and had the city install a speed bump in the street.
I do agree with you this whole subject has gotten alot more attention than it should have. I would just as soon stay in the background and watch the action than have to step forward and play referee.
Cmon snomibilesrme why not pay up the $0.03 a day ($30/ 3yrs) and add that paid member banner under your name.
You've gotten more than that out of just this thread. Maybe you could hit some of the other sections and see what really useful information is. Checkout any of the posts by mountainhorse, or some of the tech articles others have posted up on performance and turbos. Wow, some of those will take 2 or 3 reading to comprehend. Or maybe even attend a riding clinic. I can guarantee the $30 you spend on here is worth every penny. You could also get into the longtrack lounge and meet up with some of these guys. Snomibilers are some of the greatest people you'll ever meet.
All of these great things and it only costs $30 for 3 whole years.
Imagine how much money you blow on movies and internet and other things just to entertain yourself.
If all you are hitting is the Fouled Plug Section, because thats all a basic member can fully access, you are trying to appreciate that full on mod sled from the showroom. I'm offering you the whole ride for $30.
I'll bet you spent more than $30 bucks on dinner the other night.
Why dont you step up and find out what Snowestonline Forums is REALLY about.
