Most legislation is that way. So, given the FACT that government ALWAYS takes more power over people, we MUST surmise that the BROAD wording of this healthcare takeover will empower government to do its very WORST to us.

545?

The Constitution of the United States of America is written plainly and is easily understood by any English speaking person. Interpretation should not be an issue. The problem is that the Constitution is IGNORED by those in power and the people en mass let them.

The Nationalist-Socialist party in 1920s Germany pushed this same type of power grab and got it. The party was commonly known as the Nazi party.

I agree, the Constitution is written in plain English. It is under always under interpretation, just take a look at the look at the first two amendments as a simple example. There's a big gray area where it should be black and white.

Having your own 'catastrophic' plan, high deductible = lower premium, where most services come out-of-pocket will be illegal. One REAL solution is being made criminal.

Supporters of this or any like legislation are TERRORISTS.

Didn't mean to post misinformation, lol. The email was sent to me from someone who usually sends me factual info so I never bothered to verify any of it myself. Guess I'll double check it next time.

I hope everyone has noticed that Bo is now saying that his plan is health insurance reform instead of health care reform. He has been saying right along that he will take 500 million in savings from medicare to help pay for bringing 47 million new people into the system when all the baby boomers are on the verge of entering medicare. If that doesn't blow your mind, nothing will.

I really appreciate all the work and investigation all of you have done on the bill and all of these items are very, very important and I thank you all for it.
But rather than fighting over miniscule interpretations of items in the bill, you have to use common sense and realize that the whole STUPID BILL SIMPLY CAN NOT WORK AND CAN NOT BE PAID FOR (WE ARE BROKE). IT MUST ALL BE THROWN OUT. A measure for tort reform and to do away with pre existing conditions and a few other minor tune ups on present health insurance should more than suffice for now. Just a little common sense.

That is the problem, there is so little of that in Washington right now.
