Gonna be moving Colorado

wow, I would have thought with that amount of work done to it, you would have it down to 5950.5 at the most!

I guess anything under seven thousand pounds is light for a 4 stroke!!

btw, fcr... the commute is a peach! (ok, aside from saturday mornings going west & sunday evenings going east...)

It's got nothing on Bailey though!!!!

Do the dogs bark a lot when people are sneeking around outside with lots of toilet paper rolls?

On My Way

:cool:I can totally see you sneaking a peak out from behind a curtain, suddenly the door swings open and I hear:

ZEUS! APOLLO! PATROL!!!

Don't worry INDYSLEDHEDD if you buy it I'll bring a house warming gift, not the TP!

Lots of $$$

skid, tunnel & battery will do a lot

Man, with all that cash you could get a new little two smoke every year, drop 5500 pounds and really put a hurtin on the terrain:D Keep the turbo as a backup for the deeeep days:face-icon-small-coo

Whatcha doin with your hail damaged junk? I could use an upgrade:p

sold 2 of the cars as is. Those were the daily drivers. Getting the dodge fixed up a little but not completely. Thinking about getting a flatbed instead of fixing the bed. The entire driver side is pretty beat up.

The camper just needs new vent covers than it's completely sound and air tight. The driver side of it is pretty beat up but mostly cosmetic. I'll sell that also once the insurance kicks in. I'll probably go back to a pop up camper even though they are not as good for RE camping but much more manageable.

I'll leave the trailer as is.

I'm pretty much selling everything and starting fresh :)

new roof you say? You remodeling the house back to a single residence?

sold my house today. (contract anyway) 3 days on the market, but I haven't even begun to look for a new spot...

You want in now? New roof and gutters. New paint (including the garage). DJ moved out this weekend but still has some stuff laying around. As soon as he is done I'll be combining it back to a single residence.

You want in? Let me know I can still offer you that sweetner (BOOST)

congrats on selling the house

Well the ball is rolling listing the house polishing up the resume and making some calls for the employment,DenverR1 old lady likes the kitchen 3 car garage interests me since that will end up being my second home Sledskiing love the shop also extra parking would be good for me which now brings up some more questions?Thought about selling off some of the toys to make the move easier but thought i would ask before i sell hows the boating if a guy were to be around the littleton or anywhere else for that matter since nothing is set in stone yet ? also how about the atv'ing also have a 700 raptor and 660 rhino see alot of people riding dirt bikes it seems more than quads ? wouldn't mind going back to a dirt bike.As before all replies are greatly appreciated and one more when are the snow shows we are going to make a trip out and would like to plan it around one of the shows Thanks Rick.

Well, boating here in CO is a joke compared to Wisconsin, not sure if you're up to yer elbows in a**holes down in IN, but that's how it is in Denver area. LOts of toolbags that stil think they're in the midwest so they tow their boat around & go to some crowded lake every weekend... whoohoo:rolleyes:.

I may be a bit biased, I've spent most of my like on a boat, wakeboarded for a living for a few years in Madison & it was ALWAYS easy to find good water, here in CO, I won't even get in the water anymore (my knees have a little to do with that as well).

as for that rhino, they're really not worth anything, so I'll help you get rid of it for a discounted rate of course...:D:D Been wanting a rhino or rzr type toy since I sold my last gas truck, I miss wheelin'.

edit: btw, if by boating you mean KAYAKING on the other hand... it kicks ***!

Yeah we boat a little 10k acre puddle that is to shallow and over crowded but its only 45 min from the house so thats why we boat it .probably will sell the boat and the qaud and just bring the rhino and sled if things work out i think i remember when i was at steamboat lake a couple years ago they had some info on atv riding up in that area that looked pretty good noticed somebody mentioned the expense of registering the toys out there was kind of salty anybody got any numbers on this?

Registering the toys (i.e. sleds, atv's, dirtbikes) is dirt cheap man, don't worry about that...it's the vehicles that they stick it to ya on:) Doesn't help that I am a single guy with three vehicles tho!

Agree on the boating...it isn't even worth it here unless you have a buddy with a competition wakeboard boat that wants to go at 6 a.m. on WEEKDAY mornings before work:) If that's not an option, get a new summer hobby like dirt biking:):)

Good luck on the move man...will be the best thing you have ever done!

Keep your vehicles registered where you move from. Just use a friends addy and have them mail you the registration papers. It's easy and a lot of peeps do it. A new truck will cost ya almost $700 for registration here.

Couple of thoughts:
I live in Conifer, and have a 35 minute commute to Littleton for work. Not a biggie considering I've got a big house on 4 acres and was dirt cheap.....I couldn't drag my wife and kids away to live down the hill like you guys. It just works out for us up there (8400ft) but it's certinly not for everyone. Also, I've got a boat.....but mainly for fishing. I've got a little cabin in Grand Lake and the fishing is great there (sledding too) with Granby, Shadow Mtn. and Grand Lake all available and never too crowded like it is close to Denver.
So......take another look at Conifer. But I'd agree with the rest here...don't get a boat unless you check out the scene first, or are addictied to fishing like me.

weeeeellll, I guess it might be ok then...

That was my life for quite a while, wake up before dark, hit the boat, first run you could barely see the wake... it was great!!

Get on a private lake - that is the best money we have spent on the boat.

pfft, after riding at that level for a few years, my knees couldn't handle another double up if I wanted them to!

As for private lakes... they're pretty cheap, right?
