Golf Update

Ray just got schooled at Eagle Glenn this fine evening. He took several mulligans, and still couldn't prevail. I do have to give him credit, he was much better than expected. I guess i was comparing his talent from the mountain last winter.

Also, i had an idea of a Snowest Utah golf outing. Its seems that most of us that snowmobile together, also play golf. Let us know if this would interest any of you fellas.

oh dear lord:face-icon-small-con

This was the first time i played golf in 6 years maybe....so its safe to say im a bit rusty:cool:

Fun Fact:
- Ken used a driver on a par 3:confused:
- Kens drive cant touch my 9 iron
- Ken plays like a old man and never had a stroke travel over 150yds
- We will have a rematch after i play only two more times and completly crush your dreams forever!
- the dude got me by 3 shots...i guess i got killed in the mind of a small boy:rolleyes:

Funny cuz I had the same thought today about a get together. Just didn't want to be the guy in charge. We should set a date and figure out how many SW hackers we can get to commit.

Idea=
2 man best ball, 4 man team combined blind draw.

P.S.
If nobody else will take Ray. I can probably carry him for a round.:p
You know. Take one for the TEAM................;)

I would possibly be interested depending on when and where.
No one will want me for a partner though... Only played 15-20 times my whole life... My clubs are from Deseret Industries... There may be 2 clubs that match... And I have at least one womens club in the set.:lips:

If we do it on a weekend. Aug. 8th is my first free one.
Mike, if I end up playing with you I'll bring a set for you. No ladies clubs allowed.:p

-It was a 5 wood with a head wind on a 160 yard hole.
-When did I use a driver when you used a 9 iron?
-Driving distance has very little effect on your score. And it wasn't 150
-If i took as many "free balls" or "mulligans" as you, the outcome would be much different than 3.

August 8th sounds good. how about 8 or 9 am at a course around SLC? I'm only familiar with courses in the Layton to Roy area and i think most of you live well south of that. Also, i have an extra set of clubs if anyone needs them.

I'll play! You might want to think about playing Valley View. That course should be in great condition, since they just held the state am there last week. It was in Golf Digest top 100 courses a few years ago. It's kind of in the middle of N. Ogden, and SLC also.

Every golf event needs a beer cart girl! :beer;:beer;:beer;:D:D

Im game for this, tues-thursday afternoons work best for me.

I second the vote on bountiful ridge or valley view.

Eaglewood has too many homes on it and i would hate to see a snowester put a ball through a window...
