Golden Ticket only $500 bucks this year.

I got the same call as the op. I called the poor girl out as well. I ordered a 16 then used my $1000 off to buy a 17. She too told me that I would only have $500 to use on an 18. I asked her why it wasn't $1000 and she told me to ask my dealer.
There was no golden ticket (for future purchases) when you snowchecked a 2017....so any further loyalty credit is a new program. If they are offering a $500 break out of the blue....shouldn't you be thanking her instead of "calling her out". ??

Ok I got a call from Polaris today she asked me if I still had my 2017 AXYS and how I would rate it. She then said that the 2018 snowcheck was going and if I planned on buying an 18. I said yes she says that since I bought a 2017 that I would get 500 off a new 18 and then explained the 3 year warranty, PIDD Golden ticket offer and the 4 yr GT offer I then asked her how do I get the 500 off are you mailing me something she said no just go to the dealer you bought your 17 from and you will get the 500 off from Polaris at your deale

Called Rick at Oregon Trail Sports where I bought mt 17 and have SC an 18 and he doesn't know anything about as of today

Anybody else know what's up????

I received a call reminding me about my Golden Ticket... I felt sorry for the tongue lashing I gave the rep. Told them if they stopped overbuilding sleds and charging full boat for them in the spring then discounting like crazy in Feb/March a guy "might" be able to justify a new sled every year. I cant justify it when my 16 snowcheck cost 14K after discounts and I can buy an in season model for 9200 today, that is expensive tunnel/rail paint and clicker shocks and 2 years more ont he warranty. Not to mention no dealer wants to take a trade in this time of year and if they do shoot you a trade #, you better be wearing a bullet proof vest and sitting down when you get the #.

While I didn't give the guy a tongue lashing I felt sorry for the guy I spoke to because I asked him "why would anyone get an 18 when they didn't change and you can get a 17 right now for 9500"

He didn't have much to say. Then I nicely asked him how hard it has been making those calls this year and he indicated I wasn't the only one who shared that opinion. He must have spoken to you before me haha

I trade / upgrade every two years.

Received the phone call a few days ago and received the email for the 500.00 Golden Ticket today.

Email says 500.00, but I swear the rep on the phone said 1000.00??? Either way, not trading a 17 for an 18 when all I'm getting is a new color???? Besides, I wrap mine anyway, so I'll just tell people it's an 18!!! ha ha.

so are they only emailing these loyalty tickets or are they mailing them. got the call but so far to ticket?

Real bad situation for me

I bought a 16 sc edition off the lot in January of 2016 another one in march then sc a 17 in March and sold the one I purchased in march with 0 miles. This is where It gets complicated I used a friends golden ticket and paid cash so I got a coupon for $300 in my name and $500 in my friends name and I'm sc again this year. I wonder if the dealer will let me use both coupons and I plan on financing a portion?

Yes! So far I have received two emails and a mailer w/ the coupon to fill out. No call but I did have two missed calls from Wisconsin last week? I guess they really want me to Snowcheck again this year...

Too bad winter sucked for us again out east and Poo blew out their inventory w/ huge discounts, 0% financing and extra warranty. For what I need to get out of my 17 Snowcheck w/ a thousand miles, you can buy a brand new leftover with zero miles and a two year warranty... Plus my dealer still has the sled I traded in last fall.

I didn't snow check a 17 Axys but I have a flyer they sent me letting me know if I snow check I get $500 off. But I see no advantage in snow checking anymore, I can save $3000 by mid Jan or wait till March and buy a sled like Phatty was selling that had SLP stage 2, shocks, and wrap for $11,000. I can wait 4 months to save $3000

I snowchecked two 2016 Voyagers which were NOT eligible for any kind of Golden Ticket. As soon as snowcheck began this year I got a call from Polaris telling me about my $500 Golden Ticket and to please use it. I also got an email from them saying the same thing. When I went to the dealer to snowcheck they contacted Polaris who said I did NOT have a $500 Golden Ticket and it was a mistake so I called Polaris and asked them what the hell was going on, they thought about it awhile and now I do have a $500 Golden Ticket. I suppose I should call back and argue that I should have two Golden Tickets because at first Polaris did say I had two tickets, one for each sled. One thing we did find out is that Golden Tickets are not stackable - one per sled.

I think the short lesson is that if you snowchecked a sled any time in the past couple of years you can probably get a $500 Golden Ticket - loyalty bonus , Golden Ticket, whatever you want to call it.

As for the question of does it come out of the dealer's pocket, some portion does. My dealer tried to explain it to me, it is a bit convoluted because of the way Polaris applies the Golden Tickets to the dealer's account but it sounds like in the end it ends up costing the dealer about 10% of the face value of the ticket.
