Been wondering the same thing myself, some sno on the rodgers pass web cam. May head that way next weekend see whats going on.
drove through on saturday and there does not look to be too much snow, parking lot is still bare and kicking horse looked like the didnt have a whole lot. revy is looking good but i think i would wait for while on quartz or gorman.
i was told from reliable sources theres just under 2ft at the top of kicking horse (about 8000ft). quartz normally gets more snow so it should have about 3ft. no idea where the snow line is though, probably pretty high up.
I plan on being there the first weekend in decmber, hopefully its good by then!!!!
The forecast for golden is calling for rain and low single digit temps all the way through sunday. You know what that means. Maybe we will get lucky and get a huge dump like Montana got.
Have heard from numerous people that guys are venturing out in hope right now with ok success. One more weather system and I want to do the same to put some break in hours on the new x.

same here. I was hoping willpower would have me riding my 02 early season, but I think it's going to be the XP right off the bat as long as next week shapes up the way it looks. Hopefully get a few pow slashes in.
I was up in Hope on Wed... good snow on the road, but not really worth the huge drive out there yet. Also, there is a huge rock (part of the cliff) on the road at the 50k mark.. not a lot of room, and a long way down to the lake so take'r easy through the cut

Dang, I hear ya. When the cliff lets go it doesn't leave much room for error. Last spring a big boulder came down and I had to squeeze by with my 4 place. Super scary. Not worth the risk yet... maybe in a few more weeks.

been snowing in the mountains most of the day but not much in town until late this afternoon - coming down pretty hard right now, few cm's an hour and cold enough it's staying on the ground.....few more days like this and it will start adding up for sure.
