Hey Ya'll! We are having a customer appreciation night at GSR tomorrow night Friday February 5th from 5:00pm to 8ish.
We'll be having a complimentary BBQ so stop by, bring a pop and say hello! Oh and eat some burgers! haha
You'll see some crazy sleds too! A few propane Nytros, crazy pump gas turbos, and much much more.

Wow, what a ghost town this has become. Has anyone left on this forum been into Silvermines lately?

ghost town! Good thing Golden isn't. It was a CRAZY weekend out here this past weekend!
We are getting some snow today/tonight, but I'm not sure how much it will accumulate to....?? let you know tomorrow night.

Summer @ Silent Pass

For those of you who haven't seen Silent Pass in the summer

Yah first ride out at the end of November this year in Silent Pass I clipped a pointy rock just under the snow, I think it was some $ 2k later, drove the arms on the left in and broke the castings and some other stuff, I was lucky to limp out.

hahaha, sorry to laugh but it was november!
Silent is a cool zone though. I think rocks will always be an issue in Nov and even Dec. in there even on a deep year like this.
Rode Gorman a few days ago and didn't see much rock in there. We could use some fresh though that's for sure!

Rode East Quartz today and had a blast!!
Not much fresh, but what was there was nice!
Definitely a nice change, but definitely not deep haha.

I can't believe you guys aren't getting any snow! That sux! Rode Sicamous last weekend and it was pretty good. i heard Revy was pretty decent too.

im plannin on heading to golden from the 11th- 14th anyone know what the forecast is supposed to be for that weekend as well as recomended riding areas for the conditions

snowed pretty hard up there today. not sure what it accumulated to, but the weather plot shoed 10cm at 6500'.
That is always promising. It's gonna be touchy, but at least some fresh was much needed. Should be building all night!

rode gorman today tons of fresh snow they groomed thursday night we rode friday morn first people in and rode on 10in of fresh ontop of the grooming, barley made it to the lake and had to turn around snowing to hard to see. fell off a small cliff

Rode Quartz on Friday, Silent Pass on Saturday. Poor visibility at Quartz but the snow was falling hard and found some pockets of 2-3ft deep snow in the trees and secluded hills!

Silent Pass on Saturday was crazy to say the least! Blue bird skies and super deep snow for what was left untouched from Fridays dump! Could never feel a track under the snow and headlight/windshield deep snow coming downhill. First time I made my sled bog with the BDX intake and SLP exhaust since I installed them 2 years ago!

Good job to the groomers, trails are in great shape where they were groomed as usual from what I expected in Golden!

Silent Pass Access?

Anyone know what the access into silent pass is this late in the spring? (April 30, 2010)
Would it be possible to get a sled up to the pass without destroying it on the roads?
