Gold vs Red Liberty?

hey guys this is probably a really dumb question but i noticed that one of our 900 rmks has a gold liberty head while the 06 dragon rmk has a red head on it. my 03 edge rmk also has red head on it.

what is the difference if any (other than the color) between the heads. polaris even sells the heads different on their site.

like i said prolly a dumb question but im a bit new to the mechanics here.

The 2005 sleds are the 50th Anniversary models and they are accented with Gold heads, badges, and decals to make them 'special'.

Probably the same reason the P-85 Primary Clutches fitted with the electric starter ring gear are less than a standard primary... less demand???
