Gold Creek Snoqualmie Pass

Anyone been up and around the gold creek area in the past few days since we are now finally getting snow? How is the monster bowl on the back side of the microwave tower looking??? is it getting filled in yet? many stumps still an issue???

until a base settles, stumps are going to be a problem everywhere.. there is like 4 ft of unsettled snow up there with landmines lurking everywhere..

I nailed a nice topped tree at GC on Friday. Maybe this is just my practice, but if I have to cut a tree to get my sled out, I dig down as far as physically possible before I cut out. This one bucked me pretty good. Glad it was all ski. Given, I'm sure it was cut down when we had a 8ft base too.
