GOING TURBO! What Track?

I think the 5.1 would work better with less power or less speed, to much spinning and there are a lot of lugs to throw the snow out from underneath it, but at low speed or power levels there are a lot of lugs to push with. The PC is the opposite, you see better results the faster it spins, my dealer as a PC on a Apex running 14lbs and it flat kicks the chit out of other identical apex's I have seen (even though its a skinnier track), its got the rip your arms off feel even in 2' of pow. I think, for a lot of guys more to the west the new peak is going to be better all around because its stiffer. Lots of variable, I would run the stocker first, then change and you will have an idea of whats going on, and then we will know too. rider style and location play huge factors

5.1 is junnnnnnnnk 08 dragon 700 163 would damn near get stuck on flat ground i would have to rock it back and fourth so why on earth would a nose heavy pig yamaha take off so much better then my light dragon?

apples to oranges, NOT FLAMING YOU but im just saying that from what i have read generally everyone likes the 5.1 on the pro and some are the same people that hated it on the dragon, I have no experience with any camoplast track, im just some punk kid that spends too much time reading these forums. If I remember correctly you haven't ridden a pro with the 5.1 correct? I personally like the 5.1 track but then again it is all i have ridden since what ever was on my 02 rmk.

But back on topic if it was me id wait see how you like it before you spend money on a track, but then again if your going turbo track cost is prob a non issue.

I put the 2011 assault track on my 08 td8. I thought it worked great. Yes, it did trench more on super soft days ( I live in as Colorado) but 90% of the time it rocked.....especially last spring. Just saying the track isn't just junk.
